User Guide to the Migration

TLDR;

• Creepz NFT are migrating to a new contract on 1pm ET / 6pm GMT on Thursday 2nd March
• Holders are required to exchange the legacy Creepz NFT for the upgraded NFT on overlord.xyz/exchange - This will go live 6pm GMT on Thursday 2nd March
• We are using this opportunity to future-proof our contract, including launching ‘multi-chain’, ‘soft-staking’ and ‘identity’ functionality

Whats happening?

Overlord is migrating the Creepz NFT collection to a new contract. The migration commences at 6pm GMT on Thursday 2nd March. Holders are required to exchange the legacy Creepz NFT for the upgraded NFT. Please go to overlord.xyz/exchange to swap. There is no time limit for this exchange period. Leading marketplaces are supporting this migration, including cancelling outstanding bids. While not essential, we recommend you remove any marketplace bids and delist now. No action is being taken on other Overlord collections.

Overlord is migrating the Creepz NFT collection to a new contract on Thursday 2nd March at 6pm GMT.

We are migrating our contract to bring new and enhanced functionality to Creepz that will allow the collection to scale alongside our ecosystem ambitions. This includes cross-chain & soft-staking functionality, as well as launching our core product experience on overlord.xyz.

We are working with key industry partners on this migration, including Opensea and Blur, to ensure a smooth transition. Before the migration, we recommend users remove any outstanding bids on marketplaces & delist any Creepz.

At the moment of migration, all holders will be able to exchange their legacy Creepz NFT for the upgraded NFT on overlord.xyz/exchange. This is the only method of exchange, thereby ensuring any Legacy Creepz traded post this event can always be exchanged for an Upgraded Creepz.

We have had this migration planned & tested thoroughly for some time. Please read the below guide for full details and action steps.

Timing schedule:

Creepz NFT

Migration Overview

Creepz NFT collection will be migrated to a new contract on Thursday 2nd March at 1pm ET / 6pm GMT

• Holders are required to exchange their Legacy Creepz by visiting overlord.xyz/exchange
• We will be automatically unstaking all your staked Creepz just before the migration
• Legacy Creepz will be exchanged 1-for-1 for the upgraded Creepz, they will have exactly the same traits & value
• There is no time limit for this exchange. A Legacy Creepz will always be exchangeable for a upgraded Creepz
• The metadata of Legacy Creepz will be updated, directing any holder to exchange for a Upgraded Creepz

Holders will be required to exchange their Legacy Creepz in a transaction, thus removing Legacy Creepz from the market in exchange for an upgraded Creepz.

• This will incur a Gas cost; we estimate this to be < USD10 for two Creepz
• This is the only approach that avoids any potential for fraud or scams, as any Legacy Creepz can always be traded for an upgraded Creepz
• In return you will get an upgraded Creepz which will be ready for future activations

Migration Actions

Before Migration - Listings

• If your Creepz are staked, there is no action to take
• If your Creepz are unstaked but not listed, there is no action to take
• If your Creepz are listed for sale, please delist them (note: this is recommended but not essential)

Before Migration - Bids & Collection Offers

• If you have outstanding bids or collection offers, please remove them
• Note: Opensea & Blur will automatically cancel any outstanding bids at the time of migration

After Migration - Exchanging for an Updated Creepz post 18:00 GMT 2nd March 2023

• Please go to overlord.xyz/exchange exchange your Legacy Creepz for an Upgraded Creepz
• There is no time limit to undertake this; the exchange will be open until the last Creepz has been exchanged
• The contract allows 40 Creepz to be exchanged per transaction
• When you exchange, your legacy Creepz NFT will leave your wallet and be replaced with an upgraded Creepz
• Unclaimed Creepz will only be visible to yourself by connecting your wallet to the website

Marketplace Impact

Trading & other activity can continue as normal on the Legacy Creepz contract until migration.

We are working with Opensea & Blur to ensure a smooth migration.

Opensea

• Opensea are updating the existing Creepz listing to reference the Upgraded Creepz contract
• Therefore, the current current collection will remain in place, including the same URL & collection names
• The old Creepz contract will be detached from the Opensea collection & delisted
• All trading will be paused around 12pm ET on Thursday 2nd March as Opensea migrate contract.
• We will communicate when Opensea has been delisted and trading can re-start
• All listings, bids or collection offers will be removed. You will have to re-list your Creepz or place new offers after this event
• Opensea will be porting the previous collections stats, including total volume, as we migrate
• However, trading history of individual NFTs will not be migrated. This will not impact anything going forward

Blur

• Blur will remove bids from the existing collection around 12pm ET on Thursday 2nd March
• We will confirm with Blur bids will be re-enabled on the collection
• The metadata on the Legacy Creepz NFTs will be updated, indicating that users should not trade & directing holders to upgrade
• Blur will list the Upgraded Creepz contract to their marketplace for trading to recommence shortly afterwards

Note: unlike Opensea which store collection data & statistics, blur read from the contract only and do not record stats such as total volume.

Other FAQs

If you have bids on the Legacy Creepz post migration

• They can still be fulfilled so we recommend cancelling them
• You will need a legacy Creepz to exchange for an Upgraded Creepz

If you purchase a Legacy Creepz post migration

• There is no impact on value
• Please simply go to overlord.xyz/exchange to exchange for a Upgraded Creepz

If your Creepz are in Escrow against a loan

• You can keep your Creepz in the lending protocol
• When you want to claim your Upgraded Creepz
  • Repay your loan
  • Exchange the Legacy Creepz for the Upgraded Creepz once the asset is returned as outlined above
• Note: we have worked with leading DeFi loan platforms to ensure a smooth process here

If you have lent money against a Creepz, what happens if the holder doesn't repay their loan and you become the owner of the Creepz?

• When you want to claim your Upgraded Creepz
  • Repay your loan
  • Exchange the Legacy Creepz for the Upgraded Creepz once the asset is returned as outlined above

New Product Experience: Soft-Staking, LAMEX & Loomi

Migration Overview

We are launching our new Overlord holder experience on overlord.xyz following this migration.

• All Creepz will be automatically Soft-Staked when you exchange for an upgraded version
• Soft-Staked Creepz will remain in your wallet, however, cannot be sold on marketplaces
• Season II product features (Interdimensionals + LAMEX) will be migrated to the beta build of our new holder experience on overlord.xyz
• Season I product features on creepz.co (namely staking & loomi) will be deprecated, though value will be merged into the new holder experience

Migration Impacts

Staking

• The Upgraded Creepz NFTs will be automatically Soft-Staked as part of the exchange transaction
• Soft-Staked Creepz will remain in your wallet & be represented in market statistics such as total holder count
• The benefits of soft-staking will be revealed in an upcoming experience… 👀
• You can reverse soft-staking at any time, though this is not recommend…👀

LAMEX & Shards

• Your LAMEX balance & Shards will transferred over to the new Overlord.xyz experience
• Any unclaimed LAMEX &/or Shards will be automatically claimed for you
• You can view your balances in the new dashboard
• Spending & earning will be temporarily disabled until we release the next phase of the new holder experience
• LAMEX Tiers will be visible in the next experience

Loomi

• All in-game Loomi, ERC-20 Loomi and unclaimed Loomi from mega bribes & vault staking will be migrated to LAMEX - This will happen via a Snapshot, you do not need to take any action
• This migration will occur at a 5000:1 Loomi to LAMEX ratio
• This will be represented in your LAMEX dashboard in the experience shortly after migration

Named Creepz

• Upgraded Creepz will retain their given names post migration
• Creepz will not be nameable immediately following migration
• A new personalization experience, including naming, will be launched soon in an upcoming experience

Reptilian Armoury, Mega Shapeshifters, Vaults, Shapeshifters, Invasion Passes

Overview

No action is being taken on other Overlord NFT collections for now.

• Trading will continue as normal on Marketplaces
• We have future utility developed for the other Overlord NFT collections

Migration Impacts

There are no actions to take.

• Please continue using creepz.co to manage your staked assets
• All Loomi & Lamex production will be halted, in-line with their migration
• A developed future experience will enhance their utility moving forwards - watch this space 👀

Interdimensionals

Overview

The Interdimensional Experience is being migrated (& enhanced) to overlord.xyz/dashboard.

• The ID interface on Creepz.co will be deprecated
• Post migration, you can view your Interdimensional Traits & Stats in the new dashboard
• The Interdimensional Builder, including packs & trait marketplace, will be temporary closed before we launch the next phase of the experience
• If you hold your Interdimensionals in a different wallet to your Creepz, this is not an issue. Your Traits & Stats will be viewable by signing in with the relevant wallet
